Life, Dreams etc.

"Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans"

Yes, we have heard this particular quote, read this particular quote,  on Facebook walls or WhatsApp status or as a recommendation by Google as "top used quote on life".

Is it actually true? Does this mean that we stop planning and relax? Does this mean that all of us are stupid, working for our dreams, earning for our family?  I'll leave the decision to you

As I said earlier, we work.. we work for our dream..
Now sit back and give it a thought.  Are you really working for your dream?  ARE YOU REALLY?

What? You wanted to be a musician? Then why do you wake up early in the morning and instead of "riyaaz" you work your ass off in some event management company? What? You'll say that it helps in making contacts? So that when you actually start pursuing your dream TOMORROW, it will help.. Whom are you kidding? And... who has seen Tomorrow?!

You wanna be a writer?  A poet? But why? Because you write?  Oh.. then why do you work late shifts in a firm? Or work in a bank?  Kab likhoge yaar?!

 The Dream

Why? Why just kill those simple innocent dreams? Ask this to yourself.. are you not? Are you doing what you thought you'll do when you will grow up?? Well as it turns out.. most of us don't.  Let's face it,maturity kills our aspirations. As we grow up, we become more and more practical, we do things after we decide the output we want to have from them.  When was the last time you did what you felt like doing? When was the last time you laughed your heart out without worrying about how will you look. When was the last time you actually danced in rain? Good luck remembering that.  

THE REAL DREAM 

" Ek bada sa bangla, 2-3 imported gaadi, khud ki ek company" is this your dream?  Tell me it isn't.  Tell me you don't want to earn money. NO. people!  We do want to earn money. WE DO.

Is it bad? No. So then is earning money your dream? If you say yes, you are mistaken. You earn money because you want to spend them. That musician will buy a stereo set or a full hit CD collection of his favourite singer.
In the end, all that matters is what you think. That writer at some point,  will buy the novels, he will keep a record of things he wrote. 

This doesn't mean they failed. That's where we miss the point. Nobody,  NOBODY fails in their lives. All you need is to change the view. They did what they wanted to. You fail when you think that you failed. Regret is the sign of failure.  But do regret.  Yes. That's all it takes, to change,  either your view or your way. Choice is yours. Again a classy quote.

"It is not about making a right choice, it is about choosing and making it right"

LIFE IS WHAT WE MAKE OF IT. PLAN 

THINGS. WORK ON THEM. BUT DON'T LOSE YOUR WAY IN THAT PROCESS.

Steal a moment or two. Dance. Sing your heart out. Laugh till your stomach ache. 
It is not something new which is been said.
It is now becoming a habit to add my poems in the end. :D so here's one.

Watching those starry skies,
There is a twinkle in my eyes,
Compared to them...so small is our size ..!
But with dreams so big,
Each of us plays a lead role...in our life's gig,
True to say... sky is the limit.
No excuses to make.. age is just a digit,
So pull up your socks,
Ignore those mocks.,
Take inspiration from those stars in the sky. !
From distances wide,they give us light; this is what they imply.,
Difficulties will always be there,
Life isnt always fair,
Go,, go hard for your dream.!
However unlikely they seem,
But remember.. Dreams are not those which come at night,
Dreams are those which gives you
