We look at the flag. Give a salute. And sing the national anthem. Is that it?
Is that the only duty of an Indian citizen? Does our responsibility stop there?
We go on regretting.. for what the country has become. We blame. Blame. Blame. But then what? How will the change come? Who will be the change-maker?
The truth is. In this era, it is not possible for an individual to alone be a change maker. The contribution of each and every fellow indian is what we need.
What have we done to our country?!
It has remained nothing but a life-less tree,
Not for you,,but do it for the person on your currency, walking with a stick,
Coz no nation is perfect, we have to make it.
Poverty, unemployment and corruption are words heard so common,
Great leaders? Hah.. we have none,
So be the change you wish to see, dont just sit,
Coz no nation is perfect, we have to make it.
This is high time, someone has to stop this menace,
What hell is this? Women are beaten, raped and turned to silence,
Do something, for your mothers and sisters if you care a little bit,
Coz no nation is perfect, we have to make it.
We have reached the moon and beyond... but still to superstitions our hands are tied,
We are still on that page, haven't yet crossed that side,
Dont advice others, just do your bit,
Coz no nation is perfect, we have to make it.
Be the change. Be the catalyst. Be a true INDIAN.
