Okay so for those who don't know what polygamy is,
You missed out on a very interesting part of India,
You think true love can happen only once. And you get married once, (at a time :p),
Well it was not so before.
The Taj Mahal is considered to be sign of love, sure it is.
It is said to be built as a symbol of love by Shah Jahan for ONE of his wives.

Yeah so polygamy is having more than one wife.
Yes we don't have it now.

As sure as we are that there are black money stacked somewhere in Swiss banks.
As sure as the rarity of our judiciary to make right decision or well, decisions.
As sure as XYZ was involved in PQR riots.
As sure as we don't die if we marry a manglik.

1.) Evolution
Yes, Evolution.
You see, according to Darwin, each and every species evolve over the course of time.
Now that means, women evolved. Men? Eh. Not quite.
The truth is, and by this is a kicking the beehive,
That men require a sense of power. Back then they got it by keeping wives.
While some or most of us have evolved,
There are few who has not. They require that assurance of their manlyhood. How naive.
These are those who engage in Domestic Violence, Rape and what not.
Yeah so point being,
We evolved. We understood the importance of individuality. Of trust and love. Of humanity.
Which in case you didn't notice, is washing away. It is like the paint is giving up against rust. (You better get the reference :p)
2.) Revolution
Well belive it or not.
For those who really want polygamy in India. Blame the Independence ;)
Hadn't India been free. Polygamy might have existed. The existence of "India"? Not sure.
Democracy. Hoax. Since 1950.
Soo chances are, If India would not have been independent or democracy there was a possibility of our leaders having wives.
Here's what democracy does to leaders.
On a very serious note.
We have evolved. Haven't we?
I ask you this. Is polygamy not here because some men have this mentality
"why marry if you can rape"
I ask this again. AREN'T WE SMART, INTELLIGENT, HUMANE??
Why are we bearing this?
Isn't it not just our right but also our duty to guide the lost? The lost means the "less evolved" beings. Also, this doesn't only include the culprits. It also includes the fools proposing absurd theories (chowmein) and many others.
We do believe we have god in us right?
